17 Sep Bunny Baby Shower
My passion for event planning goes back to middle school days, yes way back! In 5th grade I became friends with Tiffanny & Sara, who I consider to be my best friends to this day. Our friendship has turned 19 years which is why our sister bond is stronger than most. We had many sleepovers and when it was my time to host the sleepover at my house, I would always create invitations from scarp paper with a theme! I’d have the dolls, and everything set up so we could get straight to playing with our barbies. Since I was 11, I knew I liked to plan gatherings, which now have turn into events!
So, when I found out Tiffanny was pregnant with her first baby, I instantly started a Pinterest board. At the moment, we didn’t know the sex but when we found out it was a girl, it was time to plan the baby reveal party. I was the only one who knew the sex of the baby and I was in charge of planning the event. I suggested ideas to Tiffanny and she decided to a “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” theme, which I’ll share on my blog in the following weeks. I love getting creative, searching ideas, and coming up with new themes/set ups to celebrate someone’s special moment.
Ava’s bunny theme baby shower would not be an exception. We created a floral back drop with 4 different types of artificial flowers: blush wisteria bushes, hydrangea stems, dahlia stems, and peony stems. A gorgeous backdrop to your setting makes all the difference in photos. This beautiful backdrop is perfect for baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, and quinceañeras! The wooden name was ordered from Etsy and spray-painted gold to have the backdrop personalized. Deserts were all done by Zandrita’s Bakery Café, which are not only beautiful but delicious! She makes some of the best Peruvian deserts/appetizers, if you ever want any feel free to message me and I’d be happy to share her contact information. We only added a touch of personality with bunny ear cupcake toppers.
For the table setting, we used blush linens, gold charger plates, and plastic plates for easy clean up. The plastic plate sets we ordered brought the cutlery, which I’ve linked below. I then placed linen napkins folded into bunny ears on top to follow the theme. And let me tell you, Mason jars are good for many things, even vase for a simple centerpiece with hydrangeas and roses of different tones of pink like the ones we did. We also printed personalized water bottles which always adds a cute personalized item to your event.
This is one of many events I’ll be sharing on my blog, so keep a look out for many other events coming up. If you or someone you know is looking for an event planner please don’t hesitate to contact me through email or private message. I would be delighted to plan your event!
